LCC street lighting respectfully request that local highway please arrange to have this highways overgrowth substantially cleared to improve the highways lighting and give safe access to both the lantern and the lower door area, access is required for maintenance and immanent column replacement works due to start on the15th of September.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

Due to the continued parking of vehicles, including a large van, at the top of the close we are struggling to pass these vehicles without damaging our own vehicle. This is also causing existing potholes to be enlarged as they are unavoidable. The large conifers are becoming a great fear as the heavy winds are moving them around considerably and this could lead to major damage which could include damage to property.
