We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report. Thank you for contacting us. The two temporary 30mph speed limit signs referred to in your report are no longer required, due to the speed limit now being 30mph on both entrance to this link road. They were turned face down by one of our officers yesterday while attending an enquiry about these temporary traffic signs on an industrial estate, and are scheduled to be returned to our depot in the near future. Thank you for reporting this matter.

1: Both entrances to this link road have always been 30mph since the road was installed. 2: they were not turned over yesterday, they were done well before this. 3: why, if they are superfluous, were they turned face down yesterday (which is untrue) and not returned at the time of visit? Surely this is at the expense of the tax payer and not financially viable, spending more from the public purse which is already stretched, for an unnecessary repeat visit.
