Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2855477.

Branches are falling off the Oak tree and one hit my car as I was driving under it on a calm day with no wind. There is also another branch hanging off the tree waiting to fall. This tree needs pollarding as falling branches are potentially lethal to the people including many children that use Edinburgh Walk. Tree maintenance in this road is well overdue and there is a silver birch further up the road which has been dead for over a year with branches falling off. It’s worrying having to drive or walk down this busy cut through road in Holbeach. SHDC and the parish council state it’s not their tree and belongs to LCC.

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
