Outside number 29 Church Lane

Reported via desktop in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category by Mark Poucher at 08:16, Mon 15 September 2025

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2855667.

Path very badly subsided / eroded. Needs resurfacing from end of drive slope to the kerb to stop standing water. Because of ongoing road flooding issues, this is a constant problem. When frozen it makes access / egress of the property very hazardous due to skid risk - at low speeds!!! For pedestrians in winter - slip hazard due to ice forming on the pathway. Uneven surface - trip hazard.

  • This area is flooded again and while it has always flooded in the 25 years we have lived here, it floods much more easily now the road has been resurfaced- this is brilliant but the drains are full of rubbish and tar and are now smaller which means the water cannot flow into them

  • 2nd March. Well since starting this issue with you back in September, absolutely nothing has been done to resolve the issues!!! The road has been constantly flooded for the past 3 months now and is a disgrace. Why hasn't the drains been cleaned out? Why haven't we seen any action to resolve the issue. Drains, poorly laid re-surfacing (sloping away from the drains)!!! Can soemone please come out and talk to me????

  • 2nd March: I have seen cars drive half on the path to go through the water. Kids have to run along the grass to avoid being splashed. People are actively driving round and through the water 'at speed' to get some sort of thrill out of it. Action required!!!
