Junction of Kennel Lane and Hawthorn Road, Reepham

Reported via desktop in the Problem at LCC roadworks category anonymously at 10:15, Tue 16 September 2025

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2855795.

This morning (Tuesday, September 16) at 08:45, three highway maintenance vehicles parked, obstructing the entire footpath, including the dropped kerb for the crossing of the busy junction.

This is a very busy junction and tricky to navigate without the hindrance of vehicles. It is a route that is busy with pre-school pupils heading to the nursery and primary school pupils heading to Reepham, and secondary school pupils heading to Cherry Willingham.

The parking would have caused people with pushchairs, wheelchair users or guide dog owners to cross by walking out into Hawthorn Road whilst not being able to judge traffic approaching the junction from the A158 Wragby Road East.
