Once again ankle high flooding across the whole of the road stretching from Sunnyside to the holiday cottage opposite, then mud thereafter. This has been going on for about a year. It is inconvenient, smelly and slippery and getting longer and worse

This problem has been ongoing for a very long time now. Are the council team ignoring it for a reason?

We have an update. Our highways team have issued this work out to one of their delivery gangs. We’ll let you know when the job is complete.

Another three weeks have elapsed - hardly into autumn, hardly any rainfall and still a whacking great puddle in the road.

A quick update for you. We’ve been to site and made this problem safe with a temporary repair. We are going to return to do a permanent fix.
