B1174 Grantham Road at Great Gonerby just passed junction with Belton Lane travelling in the diection of Gonerby Moor and the A1
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 2856839.
The manhole covers on the road surface at this location have all subsided below the level of the road surface due to large traffic volume using the road. It is very difficult to avoid these structures as they are not positioned at the kerb edges and so lie in the line of traffic flow. Continued damage could cause the manholes to collapse and may cause a riad accident. At least three manhole covers and their surrounding tarmac are damaged. This problem is ongoing.
