Flooding on Jerusleam Road and Junction of Swallow Avenue

Reported via mobile in the Standing water covering more than half the road category anonymously at 15:47, Friday 3 October 2025

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2857530.

The water doesn’t drain into the Drainage system on Jerusleam Road and it hasn’t for years, it floods this main road in the village right next to the school. There must be either a collapsed pipe or a blockage in the surface water sewer as its many gully’s affected. It often comes onto the pavements and onto peoples gardens. Please could LCC look into this problem and rectify the issue, thank you

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

    State changed to: Investigating

  • We are sorry we are not taking any further action on this enquiry. An officer has attended the reported location and no immediate concerns were noted with the mentioned drainage assets. Our cyclical team attended this area in May this year and noted that the system was operational once their works had been completed. It’s worth noting that at times of extreme weather even well-maintained drains such as these can be overwhelmed. If any major flooding does occur then please report this issue to us again and we will investigate further. Thank you for reporting this matter.

State changed to: No further action
