Blocked aco drain on dury court

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2857545.

Blocked Chanel drain is causing considerable amount of rainwater into the high street which is causing flooding, please could LCC clean this out of advice whoever owns this drain that they need to in the public interest

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

  • We are sorry we are not taking any further action on this enquiry. The mentioned drainage asset lies beyond the boundary of the footway and its responsibility lies with the owners of the land behind. As we are not aware of any major flooding in this location, we will not currently be enforcing this issue at the expense of the public. Thank you for reporting this matter.
