Investigating
The verge is encroaching over the tarmac road on the east side.

I have reported this before and the response was to drive a mower down the verge which as you can see is non existing because the hedge is overgrown. If it is of no concern say so, but don’t waste the rates paying a contractor to bring a very large John Deere tractor and mower down here to do nothing. The photograph was taken after the mower, the cut away exposing the wider street will be kept clear by our car turning onto the lane.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report. Thank you for your enquiry. We have evidence from the land owner that this overgrowth was cut back in August and have since carried out a site visit and we are happy that this is no longer a safety issue. We will continue to monitor this as part of our ongoing routine inspections. Thank you for reporting this matter.
