Missing bridge barrier, dangerous deep drain

The bridge safety barrier is missing, as shown in the attached Google image, where it was previously in place. Without this barrier, there is nothing to prevent vehicles from going straight into a deep drain beside the road.

This poses a serious safety risk and needs urgent attention and replacement to prevent potential accidents.

I notice this was reported back in 2021, but nothing happened. This needs replacing.

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
