The footpath between the properties and the grassed area around Whiting Square.

Reported via mobile in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category anonymously at 14:39, Tue 7 October 2025

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2857934.

The footpath has not been maintained for a number of years now and the surface is cracked, undulating with patches of tarmac missing. I've fallen twice over the past year. I now use a mobility scooter and the ride is very bumpy. Everyone complains about it. Also the exit road from the square has dropped kerbs which are invariably unaccessible because of cars parking across them. Although I have reported this in the past I'm told it is to far to send a traffic warden. What we would like is double yellow lines so that we don't have to drive our scooters over the muddy grass. There is ample space for parking elsewhere in the square but people seem to lazy to walk a few feet further. If this is the wrong place to report parking please could you forward this to the correct department. Yours faithfully D Harvey 32 Whiting Square Boston PE21 9JW 01205363441
