Overgrown/unmaintained hedge
Reported via mobile in the Obstruction (Road/Pavement) category anonymously at 13:01, Wed 8 October 2025
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2858037.
The hedge in question belongs to the property The White House, fen road. Due to it not being maintained at a more suitable height or width, the foliage has now encroached into the carriage, forcing vehicles to take a more central position on the road with a blind bend in near proximity to the hedge. Walkers have lost a refuge to the side of the road and while the speed limit to 30mph, it is obviously exceeded by a significant number of vehicles passing the area. The area also has regular horse riders who are also at risk due to the overgrown hedge

This is a photo of the same hedge (immediately behind the trailer box on the road) in 2003, when it was managed and maintained. While we are not asking for it to be reduced in height to this shown, but to a more senseble and to be maintained properly so it is not a hazard to all users of the road way
