Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2858248.

"No Road Markings" sign left on the verge after works complete. Road marking gang said the sign wasn't theirs so wouldn't move it.

  • Read the complaint properly; It has nothing to do with an unlit road sign. A temporary sign was left after road works. Surely that's a simple job and doesn't need " investigation"

  • For goodness sake it is not complicated. If the sign belongs to the contractors, you can take it to your depot and they can collect it from there. I don't want it outside my property. it will end up being interfered with and a end up on the pavement or road and be a danger to pedestrians or motorists. If you can't organise this I am surprised that even one pothole gets filled.---- It could make an interesting article for the local papers!
