I would like to report a defective footbridge over a stream near Hall Wood in Authorpe. The footpath leading to the bridge is accessed off of the Aby Road about 1/4 mile up from the road junction next to Station Farm.

In addition to info provided by the earlier report. The wire mesh is lifting from the bridge foot way and is a trip hazard. The structure supporting the footbridge seems to be weak or collapsing. Please prioritise an assessment before it collapses fully. Thank you.

LCC have removed the bridge and closed the PROW. A replacement is unlikely before next financial year due to lack of funds.
