Fallen tree or branch problem

There are several trees which are located on the edge of the highway that are heavily weighted towards the adjacent properties / highway; the trees in question are privately owned and as such the City Council has not undertaken work here to mitigate the potential issue of failures on to the highway.

Could I politely request that LCC contact the owner of the property to request that they remove the potential risk of harm to persons or property which is currently being presented by unmanaged trees at this location; please refer to below:
