• Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

• With the wetter weather, this is now causing standing water across the whole road after rainfall. The road surface along Platts Lane is already pretty horrendous, so this issue isn’t helping. Could you advise if this will be resolved as it’s been blocked a good few years now and has been reported previously by the Parish Council, along with the similarly blocked drain further up near to Paddock View. If tree roots are the cause, can you advise what can/will be done to resolve these as it causes so much surface flooding after rainfall year in, year out. Thank you.
