• We’ve been to the site and investigated the issue. We couldn’t get this sorted just yet and more work is needed. We’ll keep you informed about how this progresses.

• Good to talk today, thanks Dean Kelly, for the useful update. I understand you have been to look inside. This lamp is rotted inside, the bracket the Distributer Network Operator (fuse and socket) connected to the live wire. Therefore it is not a simple job, and needs specialist sub-contractor (3 months allowed) and may need a road closure. (12 weeks notice required). Will discuss tomorrow with Nathan Pardal what can be done sooner. Other simpler lamp replacements can be done, when the new replacement lamps arrive. Meanwhile NKDC is having to replace all their lights over to LED in a programme managed by Ruth Denton at NKDC.

• We have an update. Our highways team have issued this work out to one of their delivery gangs. We’ll let you know when the job is complete.
