Neat entry to Grand sluice lane

At the entry to Grand sluice lane there us some new building work occurring. For the last 3 weeks this site has stored bricks etc on the road causing an obstruction which each week is becoming worse. The nature of the obstruction and the fact of the road being single carriageway has meant that the residents bins have not been collected for 3 weeks but more concerning emergency services would be unable to access the road. This obstruction also makes it difficult for my small car and others to get passed as you can see in the picture there also street parking compounding the issue.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

This is a single carriage road with on street parking and now a builder using the opposite side for storage of bricks and equipment. No emergency vehicle could pass and we are struggling to get waste removed. Your assessment is incorrect
