Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2859906.
I have been driving to my cancer appointment in Lincoln , there were some road works there with a 30 sign . Obviously slowed right down all of a sudden I’ve drove over a massive drain that was sticking out the road . There wasn’t any warning about this. It’s made a big pop noise and after driving for a minute my car flashed red and told me to stop immediately as gear box was damaged due to this , there was a police driving past and stopped to help me and directed traffic as my car was in middle of the road . They gave me an incident number and help me arrange recovery . They have agreed that this drain is dangerous and shouldn’t be left like that . It’s caused big damage to my car and now it has to be scrapped as the damage is that expensive . If you could send me a link so I can upload more pictures and videos as we went back to record what’s going on on that road .
