The storm drain by the curb is constantly clogged and gives off a very strong, unpleasant smell. When it rains a large puddle forms and it’s affecting my ability to work and ventilate my flat. Could you please send someone to clear and clean it as soon as possible? Thank you

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

Why have we closed this report? We cleaned this areas drains in the last year and our last inspection showed that they are working well. It’s worth noting though that at times of extreme weather even well-maintained drains like these can be overwhelmed. If the problem happens again but in less extreme conditions then please report this to us and we will investigate the issue again. Thank you for reporting this matter.

Sorry, but that drain gets full when it rains, and there’s always a puddle of water. Cars splash water onto the windows, and it smells terrible, like today. Please come and see it for yourselves!

I've been working here for 5 years, and it's always been the same! What did you clean last year if it’s been like this for 5 years already? I’ll report this elsewhere if you don’t fix it!
