I’m getting in touch because the conditions on the road outside our homes have become increasingly unsafe, and at this point it’s hard to ignore that it’s heading in the wrong direction.
The road is regularly covered in thick mud, making it extremely slippery for both pedestrians and drivers. There have already been several incidents of people slipping on foot, as well as cars skidding when braking or turning. Thankfully nothing major has happened yet, but it genuinely feels like a matter of time.
To properly address the issue, what’s really needed is: • A proper wheel wash system for site vehicles • More frequent and more effective road cleaning • Immediate clearance of built-up mud, especially in pedestrian areas • Temporary safety measures or signage where hazards remain
