Road marking request
Reported via Android in the Road Markings category anonymously at 07:23, Monday 3 November 2025
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2860198.
Would it be possible to have some line markings here to designate each side of the road or a stop/give way line? I have seen and been involved in countless near misses by vehicles pulling straight out of this road (visibility reduced by parked vehicles on the corner) and also vehicles cutting the corner instead of staying to their side. I am worried an accident is going to occur as there are a lot more cars in this housing estate now.

We’re sending you this message to let you know that we do not tend to put centre lines or give way markings in residential areas such as this. For the issue of the parked vehicle we would recommend reporting this issue through our nuisance parking tool found via the following link - Report nuisance parking | Nuisance parking – Lincolnshire County Council our parking team will then investigate the matter and update you with the best course of action. For any vehicles causing issues by driving inconsiderately, these could be classed as a driving offence and should be reported to Lincolnshire Police. You can do this by using the following link https://www.lincs.police.uk/ Thank you for reporting this matter.
