The junction on Tritton Road, just south of where Moorland Avenue joins, there is another junction that meets traffic from the Sainsbury's supermarket

If travelling southbound down Moorland Avenue you will arrive at traffic lights to Tritton Road. If you are turning left at these lights then as soon as they go green, the next set of lights on Tritton Road at the Sainsbury's junction will immediately go red, regardless of whether there is traffic waiting to leave Sainsbury's or not. The lights can also take a long time to go green when the junction is clear. The sequence needs optimising. If you are fast out of Moorland Avenue then you can just about get through the next set of lights before they change, but this encourages impatient drivers to drive quickly.
