Blocked drain problem
Council ref: 4209284.
Recently been resurfaced and the drains were fine till then now when we get heavy our properties are at risk of flooding. As the water will come down the drive into the garages. Believe there may be tarmac and debris from the resurfacing works down there.

Probably, they can't manage to do many jobs right, I can't believe they still have the monopoly in being trusted with looking after our roads etc. Get some pictures as evidence and upload them. Keep reporting !

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

This surface water drain has still not been attended to. Traffic is driving through the water which builds up during rainfall, soaking our boundary wall and over the wall onto our house front. This is totally unacceptable. This issue needs resolving a.s.a.p. !

You'd think they'd have cleaned them when they resurfaced the road, but common sense is a rarity with LCC

Thanks for telling us about the fault. We’ve had a look at it and the drain will be cleaned as part of the next schedule of works.

I don't believe you've looked at this drain. When did this inspection occur? When is your next cycle of works?
