• We have experienced a large amount of rainfall in a short period of time. We are prioritising reports where the flooding poses a risk to life or a significant risk of internal flooding. In times of extremely heavy rain, drains can become overwhelmed and at the moment roadside drains may not be able to drain away due to watercourses being full and backing up. When the situation has returned to normal we will re-assess your report and may re-open it if necessary. If the problem becomes significantly worse during this incident please contact us again. Thank you for reporting this matter.

• Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

• Thank you for reporting this matter. We are aware that Anglian Water have removed the standing water in the area caused by a recent pipe burst and the road is now clear. The County Council drainage team who attended recently have identified a collapsed surface water pipe along Parkside to which the surface water drainage system on Greenfields outfalls. Whilst we are unable to take immediate action we are looking the excavate the area identified and carry out pipe repairs in the new year. Thank you for reporting this matter.
