Reported via desktop in the Tree/hedge restricting available highway category anonymously at 09:42, Sunday 16 November 2025
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2861736.
Stretch of land on the south side of Everingtons Lane..where conifer type trees are restricting the highway cause an inevitably road accident and possible death. This is a stretch of relatively straight road where speeds of 60 mph are common despite a 30mph limit. This was reported by myself some months ago yet nothing has materialised Why has nothing happened? Should there be a fatality your non actions to solve this problem will be published and you will be named and shamed…Now please take action to the person responsible for this matter. Thank you.May I state this has reported my me several years ago so this is my third time of reporting. Please don’t make me take my own actions to solve this problem because it will nit the National newspapers and the BBC news.

In this instance we don’t intend on taking immediate action. Because our current resources are extremely limited we have to focus our enforcement on matters of a significant danger or nuisance to road users. We can, however, continue to monitor the site during our routine inspections and will review the situation. Thank you for reporting this matter.
State changed to: No further action
