Gulley outside Cedar Lodge Low Road

Reported via mobile in the Standing water covering less than half the road category anonymously at 12:44, Sunday 16 November 2025

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2861754.

Gulley is blocked (again!) I’ve reported this frequently over recent months.

Updates

  • Thanks for letting us know about your issue with standing water covering less than half the road.

We have experienced a large amount of rainfall in a short period of time. We are prioritising reports where the flooding poses a risk to life or a significant risk of internal flooding.

In times of extremely heavy rain drains can become overwhelmed and at the moment roadside drains may not be able to drain away due to watercourses being full and backing up.

If the problem becomes significantly worse during this incident please contact us again. You can find out more about flooding and drainage on our website

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

    State changed to: Investigating

  • We’re sending you this message to let you know that we’ve inspected and acknowledge that this gully/system is blocked, but because it is not causing a serious highway safety or property flooding issue we will not be ordering work at this time. Thank you for reporting this matter.

State changed to: No further action
