Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2861872.
The drain adjacent to the property is currently blocked with leaves and other debris. As the road is significantly higher than my driveway, when the drain becomes blocked the water cascades down the path and is severe conditions it has flooded my garage. I have attempted to clear as much as I can but it really needs the mobile suction unit to clear it properly.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

The County has received a large amount of rainfall in a short space of time and as such we are having to prioritise flooding sites which pose a risk to life or significant risk of internal flooding. It’s worth noting that at times of extreme weather even well-maintained drains can become overwhelmed and at the moment road gullies may not be able to drain away into watercourses which are full or backing up, including sewers. If the problem happens again but in less extreme conditions then please report this to us and we will investigate the issue again. Rest assured that we will be inspecting all drains and gullies in the coming weeks once the emergency response is over. Thank you for reporting this matter.
