Three very large wide and deep potholes measuring approximately 18 inches wide and 3 inches deep due to surface having wholly disintegrated at junction of Spital Terrace and Cross Street in Gainsborough

We have an update. Our highways team have issued this work out to one of their delivery gangs. We’ll let you know when the job is complete.

I see that one of these potholes has since been roughly filled with a bucket of tarmac, but the adjacent pothole (of similar size and depth) has been left wholly untouched. As a council taxpayer, it leaves me very angry that your highways people will now need to duplicate their cost of transport, materials and men in order to address the adjacent pothole .. just a few short feet away from those others .. when everything could have been addressed at one and the same time. Quite frankly it beggars belief that your highways department works in such a haphazard manner. I attach photographs of that adjacent pothole to this email. I would like this matter to be drawn to your appropriate director. At the same, time I am forwarding this email to my local councillor.
