Cllr Dave Ashby and myself would like this road to be reduced from a 60mph to a 40mph, its an accident waiting to happen especially when the new development starts. It's way to fast and someone will die. Please reduce the limit now before its too late. The residents along this road cannot safely exit their drives due to the excessive speed of oncoming vehicles Thank you

This particular road has been 60mph for donkeys years, it isn't dangerous as I use this road personally and 60 mph is quite suitable. It isn't a typical residential street and doesn't warrant 40mph.
People like you think you know better than everyone else and interfere with people's daily lives.
There are only about 4 driveways I counted along this road and a junction midway down called burr lane.
That junction is on a long straight bit of road so can see both ways.
If the driveways are suddenly a problem to pull out of after all these years, mirrors should be installed opposite their driveways to safely assess to pull out.
People pulling out of junctions have a duty of care when pulling out and if they can't judge speed and pull out safely, they shouldn't be driving.
If you're already on the main road established at the posted speed limit, you shouldn't have to be affected by inconsiderate people who think they can pull out of junctions/driveways and cause people to slam on their brakes.
You also fail to mention drivers driving to slowly around Spalding causing congestion and dangerous situations.
I wouldn't be surprised If people like you travel down this road at 40mph causing congestion to get someone impatient to then dangerously overtake to then cause a fatality and then say"oh we told you so".
