Blacksmiths cottage, Allington
Reported via desktop in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category anonymously at 13:56, Tuesday 18 November 2025
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2862026.
The pathway leading down Side Street to Allington with Sedgebrook school is badly damaged particulalry towards the end before it meets the school, with significant cracking and warping. The bushes along the side belonging to the cottage and verge on the other side are encroaching onto the pavement, causing narrowing of the passageway and many trip hazards from the broken, cracked and warped pavement and slippery manhole cover. This is the main access to the school and is used by many of the primary school children daily along with the slope and camber on the pathway and winter weather coming it does not feel like a safe route.
