Skellingthorpe Beck

Reported via desktop in the Weeds on the highway category by Graham Bright at 14:22, Thu 20 November 2025

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2862276.

The Beck is blocked in a number of locations between the corner of Birds Holt Farm and the houses adjacent to it on Queensway, there may be further issues upstream that I was not able to access. This restricts the flow of water with a potential risk of flooding during storm conditions or with prolonged periods of heavy rain.

  • I completely agree I have been asking LCC to get this sorted for years. The highway drainage systems from the queens way estate and Swallow avenue estate all discharge into this stream it overflows all the time and floods peoples gardens and Queensway. It’s only a matter of time until it floods inside peoples homes. It came within centimetres last year it’s scary
