Up hill from Harper Garth bus stop
Reported via mobile in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 11:58, Tue 25 November 2025
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2862868.
Water is coming out of this gully drain and flowing downhill past harper garth. Quite a stream coming out of the drain. Been like this since the heavy rains over last few weeks.

Even more water is coming out of this drain. If this freezes it is going to be a considerable road hazard.

We’re sending you this message to let you know that we've inspected and acknowledge that this gully is blocked, but because it is not causing a serious highway safety or property flooding issue we will not be ordering work at this time. Looking at our drainage layer map, we can see the surrounding drainage assets were inspected in September and they were operational upon leaving.. Thank you for reporting this matter.

Unacceptable response. If this is blocked it needs rectifying. This would only take a short while. Water is coming out of this drain and not running over it. I expect it's more serious than you expect.

Come on highways get these drains sorted out. They are getting worse and are now drenching pedestrians and there dogs when walking on the pavements and vehicles are forced to drive through the lakes of water stretching over one third of the road.

It is now 7 weeks since this job was issued and still no progress. What is going on? No communication from anyone. This is really getting ridiculous!
