Hagnaby Rd ditch from the War Memorial to the end of the Castle Rout Yard

Reported via desktop in the Damaged dyke, ditch or culvert category by MS CH WILLS-WRIGHT at 19:34, Tue 25 November 2025

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2862996.

Collapsing bank on road side of ditch - it's in a much worse state since the work done on behalf of Quickline.

While you sort out the disputed responsibility (as far as I know English Heritage and Heritage Lincolnshire do not believe the ditch to be part of their properties) I request that AS A MATTER OF URGENCY you put a series of fluorescent/reflective posts similar to those already there at much more frequent intervals at the edge of the road.

This truly is an accident waiting to happen, as you will see from the tyre marks in the soft soil. The bank has collapsed even more now and will only get worse.

I have alerted Heritage Lincolnshire (they also act on behalf of English Heritage) but feel very strongly that you should contact them to work out how this can be resolved. It has gone on far too long.
