Previous report 2841369. I had an email to say this problem had been resolved. It hasn't. The four drains in the road in East St, betwen the junction with Queen St and the close to the traffic lights, are still blocked and have been for about a year now. The rain water quickly causes a large puddle which cars then drive through soaking anyone walking along the pavement. The Town Council have swept the leaves on the pavement, but all the draina remain blocked.

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
