As seen in the photographs. This is a drain designed to catch all excess water flowing down from as far as Chapel Street right down Cromwell View, that then flows into Chichester Drive. It has been reported before with regards flooding at the bottom of Chichester Drive but nothing has been done about it. The cast iron plates are all collapsed and now broken and the drain itself is compacted with silt and rendered useless. Also pooling of water on the pavements of Chichester Drive due to collapsing substrait.
