During light rainfall water ponds in the road where the surface appears to be collapsing. During heavy rainfall the hammerhead completely fills with water & overtops the footpath kerbs to No 5 & No 7. Water stays for several days as there is no rainwater gully nearby for water to drain away. Likewise the hammerhead has no falls to the higher road surface of the rest of the road.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
