From North Thoresby turning to Marshchapel along A1031

Reported via mobile in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 16:43, Tuesday 2 December 2025

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2863854.

The square cut outs that have been made during recent “works” have collapsed leaving serious drops in the main carriageway. The attempt to fix the already collapsed stretches are almost worse than before.

  • We're sending you this message to let you know that we've assessed the road condition and have added it to our list of drought damaged roads requiring structural repair. At this stage we are unable to give specific dates for this or definitely commit to the scheme because we prioritise these schemes based on condition compared with the rest of the County road network and the resources available to us each year. We will continue to monitor this location as part of our routine inspections of the highway in the meantime. Thank you for reporting this matter.

State changed to: No further action
