Between no 85 and no 91 Hoylake Drive, mainly in the centre of the road

Reported via desktop in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 12:11, Wed 3 December 2025

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2863997.

Here we have a series of potholes of varying sizes and depths, one in particular more like a crater. The road here is a patchwork of previous ‘repairs’ and is slowly breaking up with debris being thrown everywhere from passing vehicles.

  • Adjacent to no 85

  • Just curious as to why this one out side no 89 has not been marked up for repair. It’s deep enough and debris is being thrown up from it.

Posted anonymously at 14:03, Thu 4 December 2025

  • Now deeper and wider than it was when first reported. Large lumps are being thrown up by passing vehicles including one that landed on the drive of no. 85

Posted anonymously at 17:47, Sun 14 December 2025

  • Getting bigger and deeper every day and as you can see another one has opened up alongside it.

  • How can 2 potholes be ‘repaired’ and one in between the 2 is left untouched? (1st photo) The ‘repair’ shown in photo 2 clearly shows a hole at the side of the ‘repair’ Why not just go a little wider and ‘repair that bit as well. That will be a new pothole in a matter of days. Also is it not part of ‘repairs’ to clear up the rubble from the potholes that’s all over the road and footpath or is that too much to ask?
