In front of Hayes house - 4 way junction
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2864042.
There needs to be a large yellow box on this junction outside Hayes house (Carholme road/the avenue/newland traffic light area) as cars are constantly coming down from the avenue to get into the left hand lane (to go over uni bridge) and they block the two lanes coming from newland. Many of the cars coming from newland are turning left however going into the right hand lane to turn onto Carholme road. Multiple times, the lights change but cars cannot move because they're being blocked again and again. Sometimes I find myself using the “right turn” lane to get around these blocked cars. However sometimes you can’t even do this as cars are blocking here too.. people shouldn’t be blocking this area but they do it every day. It’s dangerous and makes traffic back up more than it needs to. Please consider painting a large yellow box on this area (I’ve seen blockages from different sides here and it’s dangerous especially during peak traffic)
