Drain outside Cranfields, School Lane
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2864165.
The drain outside Cranfields is blocked and when it rained recently, there was a large puddle across the roadway. You can see the extent of the puddle from the mud left in the images. Please can the drain be unblocked and the road surface cleaned. Thanks.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

Upon inspection on 5th December there was no standing water. We cleaned this areas drains in the last year and our last inspection showed that they are working well. It’s worth noting though that at times of extreme weather even well-maintained drains like these can be overwhelmed. If the problem happens again but in less extreme conditions then please report this to us and we will investigate the issue again. Boston Borough Council are responsible for street cleansing so you may wish to contact them to request a sweep of the carriageway. Thank you for reporting this matter.
