Hawthorn road, Cherry Willingham. Towards bypass

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2864353.

The public footpath from “ little cherry” all the way to the bypass is covered in many sharp stone chippings. Very dangerous for pets paws , school children and cyclists. Please can it be cleaned up.

  • Loose grit is all the way down from Hawthorn Road right up to the jouning of the bypass. My car has been peppered with stone chips and slowing down significantly doesn't stop the chips. It is terrible!

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
