Investigating
Boulders in potholes
Reported via mobile in the Obstruction (Road/Pavement) category anonymously at 18:24, Fri 5 December 2025
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2864385.
Someone has put some small boulders on the verge opposite the very last house as you travel towards the A46. I assume to protect a verge or highlight some potholes. But they have now made a hazard for drivers. The road is not wide enough for two cars to pass at this point and people often pull in to this verge area to let people pass. They’re not particularly visible especially in the hours of darkness. They will damage someone’s car, or worse a car might get impaled on top of them and then obstruct the road completely.
