The bridge feels like it’s giving way Under my feet A very old wooden structure which has become over used since the newly built Holdingham Grange

  • We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because the degree of deflection evident in the deck appears unchanged from last inspection. Whilst exhibiting significant decay and loose parapet upright, the bridge would not appear at imminent risk of collapse in conventional usage, so it is not proposed to close the footpath at this stage. A replacement bridge is planned subject to size, location and resource availability. Thank you for reporting this matter.
