Lamp post removed as part of building works access, the next lamp post along consequently no longer illuminated. As the only source of lighting on this lane this is dangerous in the extreme. This has been an issue for over a year but the risk has been significantly increased by the additional road surface breakdown.

Progress! We’ve completed our investigation and works are now planned. Once we know when work is due to take place we will let you know.

We have an update. Our highways team have issued this work out to one of their delivery gangs. We’ll let you know when the job is complete.

We’ve had a look at the street light and found that it’s not working because there’s a problem with the power supply. We’ve reported this to the electricity board. Once they have fixed getting power to the light we will re-inspect it and schedule any further repairs if necessary.
