  • To reply to your recent email regarding the flood water in Stewton Lane. The photos attached show just how inaccessible to pedestrians the road actually is when it rains. There is obviously a serious problem of in my opinion of drain blockage, maybe caused by the building if the two new houses built recently. Last winter that area was also inaccessible when it iced over and neatly caused me to fall when walking my dog. The area is a disaster waiting to happen and your highways department must be aware of the situation, hence the flood signs have been installed. So please sort the problem before there is an accident on the next bout of rain which will undoubtedly flood the entire road again

  • Hello, these photos taken this morning. Yet again I can’t cross the road from the pedestrian access to the railway walk. Can you not send the lorry that clears the drains with the hose on. Maybe Lincolnshire doesn’t have this equipment? Hop to get an update soon. Best wishes Val Gibson
