There has been a problem with standing water after heavy showers here for years. I presume the drains aren’t working but it is dangerous for traffic and also people getting off at the bus stop and some have been soaked by traffic turning left towards Langworth.

This water can stand for days after a heavy downpour.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
