Drain in front of no 4 and general drainage of manor close cul-de-sac
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2865400.
The drain is sitting above the level of the surrounding road and so the water pools around it and at times diverts up our driveway and into our soak-away. With heavier rain, drainage is inadequate with water collecting above the level of the kerb and onto the adjacent path (as seen by extent of moss growing). This is the only drain in this part of the cul-de-sac. It appears to be inadequate for the surface area of road it is draining as well as the surface area of paved front gardens and driveways that seem to drain onto it. Please can additional drainage in the road be considered, as at present it appears that our private soak-away is being relied upon for this purpose. Thank you

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
