Investigating
Hawthorn road from Cherry Willingham to eastern bypass.
Reported via Android in the Loose chippings category anonymously at 21:59, Mon 15 December 2025
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2865760.
Chippings coming up here as they are in Welton and also Kennel Lane near Reepham. Seems there has been an issue this year when laying the tar/chippings. All over the road verge and pavements and blocking kerb drains due to the buildup.
Path and road from Cherry Willingham to the new Eastern bypass requires sweeping.

This is still very bad. In fact I have just been hit by multiple small stones whilst walking along this path as cars pass by and flick them up. The pavement is full of loose stone chippings, all the way from the new bypass past Cherry Willingham village.
You need to send a road sweeper down to gather all of the loose stone chippings on the pavement and in the road edge. It is dangerous. Loose stone chippings are flying around everywhere as cars are driving over it, and the pavement is absolutely covered.
This road was closed for several weeks to resurface it, and the quality of the job was instantly obvious to be very poor. In fact the surface is worse now due to the poor quality job.

Still haven't seen any action. Road still getting worse. Needs regularly sweeping until the road is fixed. Not ideal for anyone using the pavement as they risk getting hit by the stones.
